The cryptocurrency trading app Vibra is suspected to have been suspended in Nigeria and other places, with the co-founder stating that only Nigerian users are affected
ChainCatcher news, according to Bitcoin.com, the Africa-focused cryptocurrency trading app Vibra has been suspended in Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria. However, Vincent Li, co-founder of the Africa Blockchain Lab (the organization behind the app), insists that the measure only affects users in Nigeria. He also added that the suspension will be temporary.
A report from Techcabal on October 18 cited current and former employees who confirmed that the app has ceased operations in all African markets. These anonymous employees revealed that they have been asked to resign or have been fired. Another former employee stated that Vibra has not generated enough revenue.
A former employee who wished to remain anonymous said, "The company may also shut down because they can't figure out how to generate corresponding revenue from the user education we are conducting."
