Bastion obtains money transfer licenses in New Hampshire and Arkansas

ChainCatcher news, enterprise-level web3 coordinator and custody wallet Bastion announced that it has obtained money transmission licenses (MTL) in New Hampshire and Arkansas. The acquisition of these licenses enables Bastion to engage in activities related to the sale or issuance of payment instruments, stored value, prepaid access, and receiving money and virtual currency in these states. Bastion was founded by two former a16z executives, providing seamless integration of Web3 infrastructure and enterprise technology.

According to data from the Web3 asset data platform RootData, Bastion has completed a $25 million seed round financing, led by a16z crypto, with participation from Laser Digital Ventures under Nomura Group, Robot Ventures, Not Boring Capital, and others.
