Bitfinex has been included in the warning list of unauthorized companies by the UK's financial regulatory authority
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Bitfinex has been added to the warning list of companies that may be promoting financial services or products without authorization by the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA stated on its website: "You should avoid dealing with this company."
Bitfinex stated in a blog post: "Over the past four months, Bitfinex has had detailed discussions with the FCA, and to comply with the FCA's new regulations regarding the promotion of crypto assets, it has blocked a range of web pages for visitors from the UK. This includes the Bitfinex affiliate page, Staking page, credit/debit card, Lending Pro, Bitfinex Borrow, various 'how to buy' pages, and mobile app information pages."
