This move will align Kraken with its competitor Coinbase in launching its own Layer 2 network.
Recently, Kraken added relevant job postings on its website, seeking a "Senior Cryptography Engineer" with "knowledge of modern cryptography (including ZK proofs)," whose job responsibilities may include "designing and implementing Layer 2 solutions."
