BitVM Developer: BitVM has broadcasted the first mainnet transaction implementing the Blake3 hash lock in Bitcoin script

ChainCatcher news, ZeroSync project leader and BitVM developer Robin Linus posted on social media that we have just broadcasted the first mainnet transaction implementing the Blake3 hash lock in Bitcoin Script.

It is reported that Robin Linus previously published a white paper titled: "BitVM: Compute Anything On Bitcoin", where BitVM stands for "Bitcoin Virtual Machine". It proposes a solution for Turing-complete Bitcoin contracts that can be achieved without changing the consensus of the Bitcoin network.
