According to ChainCatcher, The Block reported that CFTC Chairman Rostin Behnam stated that Congress needs to play a more critical role in the institutional regulation of cryptocurrencies. The CFTC and SEC have had a good track record of cooperation in the past, but digital assets are unique. Cryptocurrencies have "tremendous potential," and given their growth trajectory, Congress needs to intervene.
