ChainCatcher News, U.S. Congressman Tom Emmer stated on the X platform: "My bipartisan appropriations amendment passed in the House today without opposition, curbing the SEC's enforcement abuse against the digital asset industry, and Congress will hold unelected bureaucrats accountable."
Previously, Tom Emmer was advancing an amendment regarding how the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission uses its funds, aiming to prohibit the SEC from using its budget to take enforcement actions against crypto companies until Congress passes legislation granting the SEC jurisdiction over this asset class.
