zkLink launches L3 network Nexus, which can connect to general ZK Rollup solutions such as zkSync and Starknet
ChainCatcher news, according to Blockworks, the multi-chain transaction infrastructure zkLink based on zero-knowledge proofs has launched the Layer3 network Nexus, aimed at connecting various general-purpose zero-knowledge (ZK) Ethereum Rollup solutions, including zkSync, Starknet, and Polygon zkEVM.
Nexus will only select one of the Layer2 networks to execute the zk-SNARK verification process, which is more cost-effective compared to executing the verification directly on the Ethereum mainnet, allowing tokens to be easily transferred from one zkLink Rollup to another. DeFi applications (including DEX and NFT marketplaces) will be able to minimize liquidity fragmentation when sending transactions across different blockchains.
