Strike launches debit card feature for purchasing Bitcoin for users outside the United States, supporting everyday spending
ChainCatcher news, the cryptocurrency payment application Strike, built on the Bitcoin Lightning Network, has announced the launch of a feature allowing users outside the United States to purchase Bitcoin using debit cards, officially rolling out in 36 countries or regions, with plans to expand to over 65 countries or regions where the Strike app is currently available.
Additionally, the Send Globally (fiat-over-lightning) feature is now available for Strike users worldwide, allowing customers in supported countries/regions to cash out fiat currency, USDT, or Bitcoin into local currency (even if they do not have a debit card).
Strike has partnered with Bitrefill to allow users to purchase everyday essentials using their fiat currency, USDT, or Bitcoin balance through the Lightning Network. Strike has also added support for Lightning addresses, zero-value invoices, on-chain payment levels, and global P2P payments in fiat currency, USDT, or Bitcoin between Strike users.
