Bloomberg: Binance founder Zhao Changpeng has appeared in Seattle court
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg terminal information, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao has appeared in a Seattle court.
Previously, ChainCatcher reported that U.S. regulators will impose a $4.3 billion fine on Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, today. Founder Changpeng Zhao has agreed to resign and plead guilty, and will not be allowed to hold an executive position at Binance, although he will retain a majority stake in the company. Zhao will also personally appear in federal court in Seattle on Tuesday afternoon to present his defense.
