The U.S. SEC is seeking public comments on the Franklin Templeton and Hashdex Bitcoin spot ETFs
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is seeking public feedback on whether to approve or disapprove the Bitcoin spot ETF applications from Franklin Templeton and Hashdex. The regulatory agency asked commenters on Tuesday about concerns regarding manipulation and fraud, as well as the relationship between Franklin Templeton's fund and Coinbase, which would act as the custodian if the ETF is approved. Comments on these two funds will be due in 21 days, followed by a two-week rebuttal period.
