At the Meter Foundation, our main focus is to promote ecosystem growth, provide key support for the development of new dApps, and create a more developer-friendly experience.

Stargate Integration Proposal Voting

Unlocking liquidity potential on the Meter chain

We have initiated a preliminary discussion on the integration of the Stargate Finance protocol with the Meter network on the forum and launched a governance vote. Stargate will enhance user experience through seamless asset interaction across multiple chains!

Sumer Money Launch
Deployment on Meter, Arbitrum, and Base

In October, we completed the documentation for Sumer and finalized the configurations for Meter, Base, and Arbitrum (benchmark testing was conducted in the reception protocol). We are currently conducting final deployment tests on Meter's testnet. The launch plan is to deploy Sumer on Meter first, followed by deployments to Arbitrum and Base in the coming weeks. The (asset) interactions between Meter and Base/Arbitrum will be supported by LayerZero, while the (asset) interactions between Base and Arbitrum will be supported by Chainlink's CCIP.

We are looking for DEX and stablecoin partners for Sumer on Base and Arbitrum chains.

To celebrate the arrival of Halloween with our community, we have launched a best meme contest with a $50 prize pool representing Meter, Voltswap, and Halloween. We encourage community members to unleash their creativity and share their created memes with the community.

Total Value Locked on Chain

The current TVL of the Meter ecosystem is $5.2 million.

Staking and Node Operations

There are currently 337 nodes on the mainnet supporting a 10% APY, with 50% of the circulating supply participating in staking.

Blocks and Transactions

We have run over 45 million blocks on the Meter mainnet, with an average latency of 1.9 seconds. The total transaction volume is approximately 17.2 million.

User Wallets

The number of user wallets has rapidly grown to 230,075.

Platform

HotStuff Consensus Upgrade Alert!

Meter will be the first public chain to deploy the pipelined HotStuff2 in its consensus. This upgrade will reduce transaction confirmation latency on Meter by 30% (confirmation time via Metamask is 3~5 seconds) and improve the long-term stability of the network.

This upgrade is currently being tested on the Meter testnet, and we expect to conduct bug fixes and actual deployment on the Meter mainnet this month.

Gasless Swap

With the ongoing development of the ecosystem, CEX integration, and community, we have launched Gasless Swap for new users at https://wallet.meter.io/swap. Users can now independently obtain MTR for native network gas without starting gas. You can find the corresponding tutorial on Meter docs.
