ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin mining company Iris Energy announced the purchase of a batch of Bitmain T21 miners (1.3 EH/s) for $18.6 million. The expansion project at Iris Energy's 80MW data center in Childress is still on schedule for gradual delivery from January 2024 to the second quarter of 2024, supporting the company's total hash rate increase to 10 EH/s. Foresight News previously reported that in October, Iris Energy purchased approximately 7,000 S21 miners from Bitmain.
