Atomicals proposes the ARC-20 token splitting solution, aiming to break through the dust limit of Bitcoin to achieve high-precision trading

According to ChainCatcher's message and its official documentation, Atomicals has proposed an innovative splitting solution for ARC-20 tokens, aimed at addressing the "dust limit" issue present in the Bitcoin network. The solution proposed by Atomicals redefines the number of satoshis required to support a single c token by introducing the "Substantiation Factor" (SF), thereby overcoming this limitation.

It is reported that the core of this solution allows token holders to convert their token units from a 1:1 ratio to smaller ratios such as 1:10, 1:100, etc., effectively "splitting" or "subdividing" their token units to any precision. This solution maintains the fungibility and liquidity of ARC-20 tokens while greatly enhancing the flexibility and precision of transactions.
