ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin Ordinals EVM expansion protocol Veda announced on social media that the launch of the protocol will be indefinitely postponed due to force majeure, and Veda-core and Veda-bvm will be open-sourced.

It is reported that two hours before the announcement of the postponement, Veda had declared that the protocol was about to launch, and had already formulated its tokenomics and token standards, and was indexing for its Ordinals services. Subsequently, the personal details of the project's founder were made public within the community.

According to official information, its official social media account was established in October this year, with the first content published in early November. Veda aims to address the lack of Layer 1 smart contracts in Bitcoin without changing the core consensus of Bitcoin, introducing an off-chain index to verify Veda data on Ordinals and providing state queries for contracts.
