Worldcoin launches World ID 2.0 and integrates applications like Telegram and Reddit
ChainCatcher news, according to the official announcement, Worldcoin has launched a new protocol update---World ID 2.0, a more powerful and privacy-focused "humane" digital passport. World ID 2.0 makes it easier to distinguish between "bots and verified humans" online, while protecting the privacy of popular applications and services through new pre-built integrations.
In addition, World ID has completed integrations with Minecraft, Reddit, Telegram, Shopify, and Mercado Libre. Previously, it completed integrations with Discord, Talent Protocol, and Okta's Auth0. As part of the upgrade, World ID will have three tiers, including Orb+ with facial verification capabilities. World ID 2.0 features a range of core upgrades that support returning the Orb to reset the World ID in case of loss.
