In 2023, Sotheby's digital art sales reached nearly 35 million dollars

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Sotheby's Vice President and Head of Digital Art Michael Bouhanna stated that Sotheby's digital art sales reached nearly $35 million in 2023, with the NFT "Ringers #879" created by digital artist Dmitri Cherniak setting a record price of $6.2 million. The auction house conducted over 25 auctions focused specifically on digital art or incorporating it into contemporary art sales. The company also launched an NFT secondary market called Sotheby's Metaverse.
