The multi-chain trading platform Thunder was attacked, affecting approximately 114 user addresses
ChainCatcher message, on-chain detective ZachXBT issued an alert stating that the multi-chain trading platform Thunder is suspected to have been attacked, with the attacker transferring 86.5 ETH to the ZK privacy protocol Railgun.
Thunder responded that the third-party service it uses is suspected to have been attacked, affecting 114 out of over 14,000 addresses, but no user private key information has been leaked. The official response was to stop the attack within 9 minutes, user funds have been restored to safety, and compensation will be arranged in the following period.
Subsequently, ZachXBT released an update on the Thunder security incident, where the attacker refuted the official claim of "no private key leak" and stated that they had obtained all user data, demanding 50 ETH as a condition for deleting the data.
