Cryptocurrency exchanges' trading volume in December exceeded $1 trillion, reaching a new high since September 2022
ChainCatcher news, December 2023, the monthly trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges reached $1.1 trillion, with Binance accounting for 39.3% of the monthly trading volume, totaling $432.7 billion, followed by Upbit and OKX with 8.3% and 8% respectively. Since September 2022, the monthly trading volume of cryptocurrency exchanges has never exceeded $1 trillion.
The Block's research director stated that the increase in trading volume in December may be due to expectations surrounding the approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF.
