CFTC Advisory Committee Recommends Better Understanding of DeFi

ChainCatcher News, the advisory committee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) voted to approve a report calling for a better understanding of the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. The report will recommend that the government enhance research on DeFi and support the compliant development of DeFi. The report will also review the existing federal and state regulatory frameworks to identify areas of DeFi that have not been considered and where legal adjustments are needed.
