ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, as the first batch of spot Bitcoin ETFs begins trading, Grayscale Investments' Chief Legal Officer Craig Salm revealed the trading volume of GBTC on the first day after the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the product.
Craig Salm stated, "Now we see the first trade today starting at 4 AM and continuing until the market opened. I found that GBTC had a trading volume of over $600 million, which is the trading volume we saw throughout yesterday's trading session. I witnessed all of this happening at NYSE ARCA, so it was really cool to witness the first day of trading with the Grayscale team. This is the result of all the hard work from the team."
