ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the recent hacking incident of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) X account. An SEC spokesperson also clarified that the SEC did not draft the message in advance, meaning the false approval notice was not a planned announcement. Meanwhile, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is also investigating the incident.
