MetaMask is testing the "transaction routing" feature, aimed at providing optimal execution and improving user experience

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, MetaMask is testing a "transaction routing" feature that can transform the Ethereum wallet into an "intent-centric" protocol—meaning users will be able to rely on third parties to find the best path for their transactions. The goal of this technology is to provide optimal execution and improve user experience.

It is reported that the technology was developed by the Special Mechanism Group, which was acquired by MetaMask's parent company Consensys last year. Consensys stated that the company plans to expand the routing feature from smart swaps to other types of transactions in the coming months and will make it available to third parties wishing to use the feature. On MetaMask, this technology is always "optional," meaning users do not have to use it if they do not wish to.
