South Korean game developer Netmarble abandons its metaverse business and issues resignation suggestion notices to over 70 employees in related subsidiaries

According to ChainCatcher, as reported by Bloomingbit, South Korean game developer Netmarble has issued resignation suggestion notices to more than 70 employees responsible for its metaverse-related business at its subsidiary MetaVerse World.

In addition, the "Meta World" project launched by MetaVerse World may be abandoned as well.

A representative from Netmarble stated, "Considering the deterioration of the relevant market, we have made a thoughtful decision to streamline MetaVerse World."
