Bitwise becomes the first provider of a Bitcoin spot ETF to disclose its on-chain wallet address

ChainCatcher news, the cryptocurrency asset management company Bitwise has announced its on-chain Bitcoin wallet address on its X platform account, becoming the first among many Bitcoin spot ETF issuers to publicly disclose a wallet address. The address shows that as of January 23, Bitwise's Bitcoin spot ETF (BITB) has a BTC address and a BTC holding of 11,858 BTC.

Bitwise stated: "On-chain transparency is at the core of the Bitcoin spirit, and anyone can now directly verify the holdings and liquidity of this address on the blockchain. As infrastructure develops, we hope to do more things, such as collaborating with companies like Hoeski to provide real-time crypto proofs."
