Data: Bitcoin miner balances hit 1.187 million BTC, the lowest level since August 2021

ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain data, the amount of Bitcoin held in miner addresses has reached 1.187 million BTC, the lowest level since August 2021, decreasing by 15,000 BTC since October 2023.

Although the significant reduction of BTC in miner wallets has sparked market speculation, some analysts point out that this does not necessarily indicate that miners are selling BTC; it is likely due to wallet reorganization.
