Kraken hires former N26 and Coinbase executives to strengthen compliance and global expansion
ChainCatcher news, cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced on Thursday that it has recruited two strategic employees, Gilles BianRosa and Marcus Hughes, stating that this will help Kraken "achieve sustainable growth in the ever-changing global regulatory environment."
It is reported that Gilles BianRosa will serve as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer, reporting to the exchange's CEO David Ripley. BianRosa previously held the position of CPO at European Neobank N26, audio platform SoundCloud, and technology company Samsung Electronics.
According to Marcus Hughes's LinkedIn profile, he will serve as Kraken's Global Regulatory Strategy Director, having previously been the Managing Director for Europe and International Expansion General Counsel at Coinbase for a year and a half.
