Reuters: European regulators propose to limit services of non-EU crypto companies
ChainCatcher news, according to Reuters, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) proposed on Monday that cryptocurrency companies based outside the EU will only be able to provide services directly to clients within the EU under very limited conditions to avoid unfair competition.
It is reported that the proposal will undergo public consultation before the end of April, and the final text will be published by the end of 2024 at the latest.
