AltLayer has opened the registration phase for Celestia stakers who meet the airdrop eligibility criteria for Season 1
According to ChainCatcher news, the official announcement from AltLayer states that community members who staked TIA locally or through the LST provider MilkyWay before the snapshot time are eligible to receive the ALT airdrop. Users who staked at least 35 TIA at the time of the snapshot are qualified for the ALT airdrop. A total of 94,759 addresses are eligible for the airdrop.
It is reported that the snapshot of Celestia staker addresses was taken on January 17, 2024, at 12:00:17 AM UTC (Celestia block number 571632), and MilkyWay TIA (milkTIA) was taken on January 17, 2024, at 12:00:11 AM UTC (penetration block number 13305634).
The airdrop claim will be conducted in two phases. In the first phase (also known as the registration phase), eligible Celestia addresses need to register their Ethereum address, which will receive the ALT tokens. Registration will open for two weeks starting from February 2, 2024, at 08:00 UTC, as shown in the table below. The second phase (also known as the claim phase) will begin on February 20, 2024, and will last until March 5, 2024.
Additionally, any unclaimed ALT tokens during the registration or claim phases will be returned to AltLayer's treasury.
