WisdomTree COO: The WisdomTree Prime App offers a better way to invest in Bitcoin than ETFs

ChainCatcher news, according to Blockworks, by the end of 2023, WisdomTree's assets under management will reach $100 billion. However, Bloomberg data shows that WisdomTree is lagging behind other issuers in terms of inflows for Bitcoin spot ETFs, with only $10 million in inflows over 15 trading days.

In response, WisdomTree's Chief Operating Officer Jarrett Lilien stated that the company's consumer application offers a better way to hold Bitcoin than ETFs. He said, "We are confident in our capabilities and our track record in growing managed assets, which indeed takes time, especially in our ETF model, as these products are not yet available on many advisory platforms, and we expect most of the inflows to come from these platforms."

WisdomTree launched the WisdomTree Prime application last year, providing users with access to invest in a range of digital funds (whose share ownership records are stored on the Stellar or Ethereum blockchain) as well as channels for USD and gold tokens, BTC, and ETH.
