ChainCatcher news, according to reports, Hong Kong blockchain insurtech company MediConCen announced the completion of a $6.85 million (approximately HKD 53.43 million) Series A financing, led by HSBC Asset Management, with participation from Gao Mei Capital, ParticleX, and Yongshi Venture Capital.

It is reported that MediConCen mainly utilizes the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to digitize paper-based and manual claims processes. To date, the company has raised a total of $12.7 million (approximately HKD 99.06 million), and the new funds will accelerate its development in international markets, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
