PlayDapp: PLA smart contract has been suspended, users need to stop trading for migration snapshot
ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the blockchain gaming platform PlayDapp has announced on social media that the PLA smart contract has been suspended, requesting users to stop trading for migration snapshots. Efforts are currently underway to protect the holders' assets, and trading should be halted as migration will be based on the snapshots.
It is reported that on February 10, PlayDapp suffered a hacker attack, and the attacker's address was added as a minter, minting 200 million PLA tokens (worth 31 million USD). PlayDapp subsequently contacted the hacker directly through on-chain messages and issued a bounty, but negotiations failed. On February 12, the hacker minted another 1.59 billion PLA tokens (worth 253.9 million USD) and began laundering the money through cryptocurrency exchanges.
