In Q4 2023, the total venture capital investment in cryptocurrency-related companies reached $1.9 billion
ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, PitchBook reports that in the fourth quarter of 2023, the total venture capital investment in crypto-related companies reached $1.9 billion, an increase of 2.5% from the previous quarter. This marks the first rise in venture capital (VC) investment in crypto startups since the first quarter of 2022.
PitchBook points out that the major crypto startups receiving funding are primarily focused on financial and technological solutions. These include tokenizing real-world assets (such as real estate and stocks) on the blockchain and building decentralized computing infrastructure.
