The special committee Fairshake received a $4.9 million grant from the founder of Gemini

ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, cryptocurrency exchange founders Tyler Winklevoss and Cameron Winklevoss donated $4.9 million (each $2.45 million) to the cryptocurrency super PAC Fairshake, hoping to support candidates favorable to cryptocurrency in the upcoming U.S. elections.

Fairshake is a political action committee backed by Coinbase and a16z, with $73 million in funding to oppose anti-cryptocurrency candidates and support cryptocurrency-friendly candidates.
