The U.S. SEC has sought public opinion on the options trading of Bitwise and Grayscale's spot Bitcoin ETFs

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has proposed a rule change to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that seeks to modify the rules to allow options trading for the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITC), Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), and any trust holding Bitcoin. If the rule change is approved, options will be traded in the same manner as options for other ETFs on the exchange, including commodity ETFs. Currently, the SEC has sought public comment on options trading for the Bitwise and Grayscale Bitcoin spot ETFs.
