PART 2 About the Specification Library

In addition to the aforementioned first batch of project and capital parties confirming their participation, this summit will also officially launch the Bitcoin Layer 2 open-source technical specification library, with a special roundtable discussion to be held. The preliminary work on this specification library has already started, with plans to complete the framework construction and summarize cross-chain bridge technical solutions and security specifications by the end of March.

The Bitcoin Layer 2 open-source technical specification library is led by BTC Security Labs. As a non-profit organization promoting security specifications and infrastructure for Bitcoin Layer 2, BTC Security Lab consists of several builders and institutions active in the Bitcoin ecosystem, dedicated to creating an open, collaborative, win-win, and mutually beneficial platform.

The specification library consists of a series of best practices for scalability solutions, security specifications, and open-source component code repositories, covering multiple tracks in the Bitcoin ecosystem such as Bitcoin Layer 2, RGB, Ordinals, Lightning Network, Nostr, etc. Through various forms such as scalability solutions, engineering practices, development tools, research reports, it invites more builders and institutions from the Bitcoin ecosystem to join in co-construction, contributing to the long-term prosperity of important narratives in Web3.
