Avalanche will activate the Durango upgrade on the mainnet in the early hours of March 7

ChainCatcher news, Ava Labs engineering director Patrick O'Grady stated on social media that the Avalanche interoperability era will begin at 00:00 Beijing time on March 7. The production code for the proposed Durango upgrade (AvalancheGo@v1.11.0) has been released. If there is sufficient staking support for Durango, it will be activated on the mainnet at 00:00 Beijing time on March 7. Additionally, Avalanche Korea officially announced that the activation time for the Durango upgrade is expected to be at 00:00 Beijing time on March 7.

It is reported that the Durango upgrade will introduce Avalanche Warp Messaging to the C-Chain, enabling native cross-chain communication for every EVM chain in the Avalanche ecosystem and establishing standards for future virtual machine (VM) use of AWM.
