Bitwise Analyst: Ethereum May Break $10,000 This Year

ChainCatcher news, crypto analyst Juan Leon from asset management company Bitwise stated that Ethereum has "largely been overshadowed by Bitcoin's popularity" over the past few months, but its price should at least double in 2024, and he indicated that Ethereum is likely to exceed $8,000 or $10,000 this year, or even higher.

He pointed out that the Bitcoin ETF has garnered all the attention, but there are more positive developments for ETH ahead. This month's Dencun upgrade will reduce transaction fees on L2 networks, which will enhance network activity and even attract mainstream demand for Ethereum. Most of the positive sentiment will manifest in the weeks and months following the upgrade.
