Ethereum core developers: EIP-4844 will be introduced on Wednesday, reducing Ethereum transaction fees to $0.01

ChainCatcher news, Ethereum core developer eric.eth posted on the X platform that EIP-4844 will be released on Wednesday, reducing Ethereum transaction fees to $0.01.

Previously, the Ethereum Foundation announced the Dencun mainnet upgrade, which is expected to activate on the Ethereum mainnet at 21:55 Beijing time on March 13, 2024, at block height 269568. It is reported that this upgrade introduces temporary data blobs with EIP-4844, also known as protodanksharding, which will help reduce L2 transaction fees.
