Crypto.com was fined $3.1 million by the Dutch central bank for operating without registration and has now completed its registration

ChainCatcher news, according to CoinDesk, Crypto.com faces a fine of $3.1 million from the Dutch central bank for operating in the Netherlands without registration. The regulator stated that it increased the fine on the platform for various reasons, including serving a "large" number of customers in the Netherlands and failing to pay regulatory fees.

The platform is now registered with the Dutch central bank (DNB).
