EigenLayer will launch its mainnet in phases over the next few weeks
ChainCatcher news, March 14 news, EigenLayer announced that it will launch the mainnet in phases over the next few weeks.
EigenLayer stated that all changes will be tested on the testnet before launching the mainnet, and the final version of the EigenLayer testnet is being migrated to Holesky, which will be operational soon.
Secondly, the EigenLayer web application and all contracts on the mainnet will be paused to facilitate controlled deployment and launch by operators on the network, during which the temporary halt of deposits and withdrawals will help ensure a smooth transition.
Thirdly, operators will gradually register on the mainnet.
Fourthly, EigenLayer will release EigenDA, and operators will begin to opt-in to EigenDA at this stage.
Fifthly, the EigenLayer web application will be updated, including a new staker dashboard and operator discovery page. After this phase is completed, the staking, deposit, and withdrawal functions will be re-enabled. The sixth phase will promote the emergence of the AVS ecosystem.
