The Bitcoin L2 project Ligo will launch its mainnet on March 31

ChainCatcher news, Bitcoin Layer 2 project Ligo announced on platform X that after comprehensive internal testing and public community testing, the mainnet launch date is set for March 31, 2024. Staking assets are being screened, with Ligo prioritized, and focusing on other Layer 1 assets, BRC20 inscription tokens, NFTs, and cross-chain assets.

It has transitioned from the inscription trading category to the Layer 2 trading category; as of now, the project has established a long-term R&D partnership with the Blockchain Innovation Lab at the National University of Singapore's School of Computing.
