Grayscale CEO: Former SEC official confirms ETH is not a security, must defend ETH as a commodity again

ChainCatcher news, grayscale CEO Sonnenshein posted on the X platform that he clearly remembers attending the Yahoo Finance Summit in June 2018, where former SEC official Bill Hinman explicitly stated in his speech while waiting to go on stage, "Ethereum, based on an understanding of the current state of Ethereum, the Ethereum network and its decentralized structure, current offerings and sales, is not a security." With all the progress this industry has made, it is almost unimaginable that we would have to defend ETH as a commodity again. If the crypto industry faces challenges, then everyone must stand up to defend it.
