ChainCatcher news, according to TheBlock, Circle's Director of EU Strategic Policy Patrick Hansen confirmed that the EU has not banned self-custody cryptocurrency trading or wallets, nor is there such a ban. However, using non-KYC self-custody wallets for crypto payments (e.g., to merchants) will be more difficult, depending on the merchant's setup.
