Vitalik: L3 does not "magically" increase throughput, and there are other better solutions

ChainCatcher message, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posted on the X platform: "Re-sharing my article on Layer 3 from over a year ago, the summary is that Layer 3 will not magically increase throughput, although they can reduce some fixed costs of batch publishing and deposits/withdrawals."

He added that there are other potential "easier" ways to achieve the same cost-saving effects as L3.
