The Maker multi-signature address is suspected to have sold 6,605 MKR through Wintermute in the past 28 days

ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain analyst Yu Jin's monitoring, a multi-signature address labeled by Nansen as belonging to Maker (0xbba…5d8) has possibly sold 6,605 MKR (approximately $21.81 million) through Wintermute in the past 28 days.

This address received a total of 30,971 MKR from multiple wallet addresses labeled as belonging to Maker, including Maker: MultiSig, between 2020 and 2023. Then, starting from 28 days ago (March 18), it has been continuously transferring MKR in batches to the Wintermute address. Wintermute subsequently transfers these MKR to exchanges like Binance/Coinbase.

• Since the transfers began 28 days ago, a total of 6,605 MKR (approximately $21.81 million) has been transferred out, with an average price of about $3,303.

• MKR has increased by a maximum of 154% since 2024, rising from $1,600 to $4,074.

• The address still holds 24,366 MKR (approximately $7.396 million).
