ChainCatcher news, Con Kolivas, the software engineer and administrator of the independent mining pool ckpool, posted on social media that a miner has mined the 282nd independent block in Bitcoin history. The miner's hash rate at that time was about 120PH, equivalent to around 0.12 EH, with an average of about 12 PH over the week, accounting for approximately 0.02% of the total network hash rate. Recently, on April 20, when Bitcoin halved at block 840,000, the reward for solving block 841,286 decreased from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC, which means its value was approximately $200,000 based on the BTC price at that time.
