Eigen Foundation: Pendle or other DeFi contract users will not be penalized in the airdrop distribution, and Season 2 will consider participants after the snapshot on March 15

ChainCatcher message, the Eigen Foundation has released the following clarifications on social platforms regarding the 10% allocation of Season 1 Phase 2 (approximately 7.77 million EIGEN), Pendle, and certain other unresolved (DeFi) contracts:

• Users of Pendle or any unresolved (DeFi) contracts will not be penalized in the distribution;
• Approximately 10% of the Season 1 allocation, the exact allocation for Phase 2 is 9.28%;
• The allocation for Season 1 Phase 2 is not predetermined but reflects the total allocation related to unresolved (DeFi) contracts.

In addition, Season 2 is now open, and ecosystem participants after the snapshot on March 15 will be considered. The initial total supply of EIGEN for Season 1 is allocated as follows: Season 1: 5% allocation, 83.68 million, where Phase 1: 4.54% allocation, 75.91 million; Phase 2: 0.46% allocation, 7.77 million.
