Klaytn and Finschia merged and were renamed kaia, planning to complete chain integration and launch the mainnet by the end of June

ChainCatcher news, Klaytn has been renamed to kaia after merging with the Finschia mainnet, and it will feature a new native token KAIA, whose symbol will be a stylized "\&", symbolizing Klaytn and Finschia's focus on partners and the community, aiming to bring others (builders, businesses, users, traders, etc.) together. kaia plans to complete the chain integration and launch the mainnet by the end of June.

It is reported that Klaytn and Line's public chain project Finschia proposed the KGP-25 proposal at the end of January this year, aiming to create the largest Web3 ecosystem in Asia through the merger. The proposal was approved by voting on February 15.
