Optimism will introduce a review process in the fourth round of retrospective public goods funding
ChainCatcher news, Optimism tweeted that it will introduce a new governance experiment, the Optimism Collective Deliberative Processes, in the Retro Public Funding Round 4.
The deliberative processes will help Optimism involve representative ordinary users in governance decisions for thorough discussions. In each round of deliberation, some assumptions will be tested, and the results will guide the design of future rounds and/or other parts of the governance system. The implementation steps are as follows: (1) randomly select 50 voters to participate; (2) discuss topics related to the fourth round; (3) between the two meetings, the community can comment on the drafted outcomes; (4) the approved results will be directly incorporated into the voting of the fourth round.
